  I've been here twice now and the food is wonderful, but the place could use a bit of sprucing up. The building itself is certainly showing some age. That was most evident on the Sunday we came and the heat had went out during the last cold spell in spring. It was freezing inside and we were happy when the chef made the tall flames appear. The good food, affordable pricing and a fun atmosphere, cause me to recommend Shogun for lunch or dinner.

  First time to this restaurant and have to say it was quite good. The service was nice, we did go when a lot of prom dinners where taking place so it took a while to get seated and then to eat. But that's not the workers fault. The cook was great, he made it interactive and entertaining. You can tell it is all scripted but non the less it was nice. I had the Samurai steak and it was tender and very well seasoned. Paired amazingly with the Japanese ginger a1 sauce. As for the desert, I ordered the Tempura ice cream. Very oily, but taste was good. Decent size and the batter taste was delicious. Oily was the turn off though. I ended up finishing my MOL's ice cream due to that. Overall recommend

  Food was good and had a great chef that still cracked the typical jokes. Giving 3 stars because of the two waitresses. They gave horrible service, and I was waiting to be seated for a good 5 min. Doesn't sound like long, but no one was at the bar or front. The waitresses definitely saw me and walked past me several times, acting like I wasn't there. They didn't even mention that someone was waiting at the front to someone else. It wasn't until their busser saw me and told me someone would be with me shortly.

  Shoguns used to be one of our favorite places. But everything seems to have changed recently. The Soup had a strange, sharp taste to it, the rice seemed cheaper quality, but now Double Rice instead of no Vegetable comes with a $3.95 charge ( When they said up charge, I imagined $1-2. Vegetables cost more than rice, after all.) So for both of us, an extra $8.00 for double rice. That's ridiculous and no other hibachi place we go to does anything like that. In the end we paid twice as much as we usually do, for quality that has gone down.

  Always 💯!Great food, service was amazing. My company was the BEST PART tho. Celebrating my granddaughter graduating 5th grade with her Mom and other Granny. 3 generations!
